Angel of Hope Garden Expansion Project

You may have noticed we are running out of space for future brick pavers at the Angel of Hope in the Maple Grove Arboretum. On Feb.16 the Maple Grove Parks and Recreation Dept. approved preliminary expansion plans of the Angel of Hope Garden.

In anticipation of starting construction this summer, Loucks Landscaping Architectural firm has been hired to design this wonderful project. Final construction plans are in progress and will be presented to the Park Board mid-March.

The Maple Grove Park and Recreation Dept. and the Friends of the Angel are working together to bring this much-needed expansion to our community. We are so pleased that the Park Board has recognized the need for this project and how important the Angel of Hope is to grieving families. We are not only adding more brick paver space, we are creating an improved place of hope and peace (see the preliminary plans below).

The Friends of the Angel has pledged to help raise funds for this project. Please visit our Donation Page (managed by EventBrite) to make a contribution. We truly appreciate any donation and thank you for helping us with this important project.

Honoring our loved ones who are no longer with us,

The Friends of the Angel Committee
